Brother and Sister @ the Pumpkin Patch | Clarks Summit Family Photographer NEPA

Originally, this family wasn't going to be able to make our mini sessions at Roba's due to their vacation.  Then, due to rain, we had to reschedule and they WERE able to make it.  :)  It was so nice to see these two again!  They braved the wind and cold to hang with me for a few shots.  And I hear they took home a some pumpkins :)

A Photographer and her babies | NEPA family photographer

I had the great pleasure of taking some mommy and me photos for a very talented photographer, Kristine Kraft of Kristine Kraft Photography.  She made quite the drive from Lancaster with her 3 daughters.  They are all beautiful and they were such troopers on that chilly windy day at Roba Family Farms.  But we did get a few good ones ;)  Hopefully I will get a chance to work with them again some time (in better conditions).

Pink Party Two @ Freedlove | Honesdale, PA

Freedlove in Honesdale (2nd location is in Scranton), hosted their second annual Pink Party on Saturday, October 22, 2011.  They were raising money for the Abramson Cancer Research Institute.  When I heard about the event, I offered to photograph it.  I'm so happy I did.  It was a very well put together event and so many were having an amazing time.  Kudos to the team at Freedlove because they really thought of everything!  The decorations were amazing, food looked delicious and the photobooth, so much fun!  I was even more impressed when I saw the outside heaters.  YAY!

Here are some images from the party.  If you were not able to attend this year, you now have something to look forward to next year.  :)

Family Fall Minis | NEPA family photographer

So, this was one of my first families to book my fall mini sessions at Roba Family Farms.  They are repeat clients and I'm so happy they were able to make it to the mini sessions.  Our first date was rained out.  The weather for this date was not ideal (cold, damp and windy) but we made it through.  They got some great updated family portraits and I got to see them again :)

A mommy and me fall mini | Clarks Summit Honesdale Scranton Family Photographer

I was so excited to meet THE Adalyn!  Oh and her mom too (hehe).  My first thought when I met them... beautiful.  My second, oh boy I wish I had my ladder.  LOL Erin is so tall.  (For those who haven't met me, I'm all of 5'1" so almost anyone is taller, lol.)

It was a cold and windy day at Roba Family Farms in Dalton, PA.  But we made it through.  It wasn't raining!  It was great meeting Erin and Adalyn and I can't wait to see them again.  Make sure you check out her shop.

Here is a peek into their session. :)

I love this last one.  They were singing together. :)

Couple Session | Honesdale, PA | Scranton Wilkes Barre Portrait Photographer

Couples sessions are not just for engagements or 50th anniversaries!  Celebrate your love and capture it.  I'm really trying to promote couples portraits.  If you have kids or not.  Married or not.  It's so important to stop and have portraits done of you and your loved one.

This couple has been married for 3 years and they have a beautiful home and 2 energetic dogs.  :)  I'm so happy they had this session.  They will now have these beautiful portraits to look back on for years to come!

So here is a little peek into an old friend's session.  I hope they had fun and enjoyed the experience.  They are a beautiful couple and it was so wonderful to see an old friend again.  I have to say, I LOVE that photography has helped me bump into people from my past.  It's been so great seeing so many faces again.  And meeting their families.  I really hope to stay in touch with them all.

Fall Wedding Photographer | The Poconos | Scranton Wilkes Barre Honesdale Clarks Summit PA

Over the weekend I was able to 2nd shoot another gorgeous wedding with Laura Marie Imagery.  This one was held in Springfield, PA.  It was a GORGEOUS day!!  Here is a quick peek at their Fall Wedding.  I know this is not as much as I normally share.  Keep in mind as a 2nd shooter I have no editing obligation.  I just enjoy editing and sharing with everyone what I'm doing.  But when I get really busy with my other clients (and my family lol), I just can't edit as many.  If you hire me as your primary wedding photographer, have no fear, you will have plenty to choose from ;-)

Local NEPA Small Business Promotion | Scranton Wilkes Barre PA

One of the hurdles small business owners face is getting their name out there.  Marketing is expensive and we try to keep our costs down as much as possible to not have to pass that on to our clients.  I think it's important to help each other out.  So I'm going to try to do my part.

When I am ready to do some shopping, I find it hard to find all the area vendors.  Yes, I like pages on Facebook but with the changes to facebook I seem to miss posts.  I like lots of vendors even outside NEPA.  So that also makes it challenging.

I will be creating a page on my blog that will list all the local vendors (who want to be listed).  There will be links to your website, a little info about your business and even a picture/ad (with size restrictions).  This way when I or my fans are looking for a local vendor, they will have a place to go and look at a bunch and choose from there.  This will stay up as long as I see it being a benefit to my vendors and fans.

I will also do a Thursday Shout out on Facebook from now until Christmas.  It is a great opportunity to be introduced to my fans.  To help spread your name around a bit.

What type of businesses?  Boutiques, Handmade Goods, Bakers, Party Planners, Gift Shops, etc.  As long as it is a product or service that I think my clients would be interested in.  Maybe you are a mom who has a part time business (only legal businesses please).  I would really like to keep the focus on Small Businesses, so if you employ more than 10 people, you would not be the business for this particular arrangement.

I ask for no compensation or anything in return.  Honestly, you do not even have to promote me in return.  This is just something I'd like to have available for my clients (haha and ME).  But I also don't want to promote businesses who aren't interested or don't think my client base is theirs.

As a BONUS:  All businesses who participate will be entered in a drawing on Christmas Eve to win a $100.00 Gift Certificate from me.  You can either use this yourself or give it away.  Maybe use it for a promotion or contest for your business.  It's completely up to you.  As a small business owner, I know how hard you work and how much you give.  It's time you receive a little ;)

So if you are interested in being part of this great opportunity, please email me (crystal@crystalsatrianophotography.com).  Make sure you include contact information and your website or facebook fanpage link.  If you know someone who may be interested, please send them this information.

{K} Family | Hawley Scranton Wilkes Barre Photographer | NEPA

I would like for you to meet the {K} family! I was so happy to finally meet them since our original session was rained out. Ok the threat was there, but it never came. Driving to their session, I was nervous. It looked like it was about to rain. But it ended up ok :)

Now, you may notice someone is missing. Dad. He is off fighting for our country, as we speak. Military families hold a special place in my heart. I know first hand how hard it is to take care of your family while your husband is away. Although, my 6 months wasn't nearly as long as these families go through.

Don't let these kids fool you.  I think they look older than they are.  Maybe it's the hair?? lol  They are 4 and 21 months!!!  Yup, practically the same age as my Layla and Evan.  LOL Blonde versions.  SO adorable and super sweet too, just like their mom!

All families with deployed spouses receive a free 5x5 spiral bound proofbook to send to their loved ones!

Check out this beautiful family! And thank you to them for their sacrifices!
